Ayeyarwady Region, Investment and Directorate of Companies Administration, Director Soe Aung said that they had negotiations with car companies to build factories in Ayeyarwady Region.

According to Ayeyarwady Region, Investment and Directorate of Companies Administration, the region is the second-best place in receiving investments after Yangon and many domestic and foreign companies come and discuss investments.

“Numerically, Ayeyarwady Region is the second best in receiving investments after Yangon. We have had a total 39 investments. There are many more plans coming to our region. Yangon is the best in receiving investments,” Soe Aung said.

Among the countries which come to Ayeyarwady Region for investment, most companies are from China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
