China’s PLA delivers 10,000 sets of PPE Myanmar military

A special fight of Chinese People’s Liberation Army carried 10,000 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the Myanmar Tatmadaw on 12 May evening, state media reported.

In the same evening, the return flight brought back the medical experts of Chinese PLA, led by Dr Bai Chong, who stayed in Yangon for exchange of medical experiences on prevention, control and treatments of COVID-19 with their counterparts of Myanmar Defence Services, according to the report of Office of Commander in Chief of Defence Services.

Myanmar currently has 181 confirmed cases in Myanmar up to 8:00 pm on 13 May.
