After meeting with people for the first time, Ayeyarwady Region government Chief Minister Hla Moe Aung said that his government would meet people regularly twice a month.

The Chief Minister told Mizzima, “Meeting with people has two parts. I myself and my cabinet members meet the people in their own schedule. I meet with farmers regularly. This is different, meeting with people by the whole cabinet. In the first meeting there will be two or three, it will not be whole. We will have such meetings twice a month.”

Ayeyarwady Region government CM and his ministers met local people from 16 village-tracts of Maubin Township at Kyone Nekkaw village on March 26 for the first time and local people asked government ministers about land issues, village roads, education and health.
