Auto parts and power show hosted in Yangon

The AMPA Myanmar (Myanmar International Auto Parts, Accessories and Motor Show) and POWER EXPO Myanmar (Myanmar International Electrical, Electronics & Electric Power Equipment Fair) is currently being held at the Yangon Convention Center at Inya Lake Hotel.

The 7th edition of the event is running from September 26 to 29.

The twin show, hosting 125 exhibitors across 155 booths, improves trade relations by attracting more than 3,000 domestic and international visitors, according to a press release.

AMPA highlights the whole vehicle trade and is showcasing brands such as Baic, Nissan, Soueast and Suzuki. 

Mr. Soe Tun, president of the Myanmar Automobile Manufacturers and Distributors Association (MAMDA), "demand for auto parts and accessories still have lots of potential."

The twin fair targets local demand, presenting automotive parts and accessories, automobile electronics, engine parts, oil and gas products, power generators, solar electricity equipment, electrical wire and cable, pumps, and electronic products.

Exhibitors are said to be attending from nine countries, including Taiwan, Myanmar, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and China. Additionally, a new pavilion from Malaysia has joined the fair. In addition, the "Taiwan Excellence Pavilion" showcases 70 award-winning products from 19 Taiwanese brands who earned Taiwan Excellence Awards.
