A total of 95 Myanmar citizens landed at the Yangon International Airport yesterday morning after they were stranded in Germany, state media reported.

The relief flight arranged by AIDA Cruises Company carried 89 Myanmar sailors stuck on the AIDAperla and the AIDAblu cruise ships docked at Hamburg city, as well as 6 Myanmar citizens who could not return home.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is bringing back Myanmar citizens in coordination with the relevant ministries and the embassies of respective countries in line with the directives of the National Central Committee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
