Police, immigrant officials and administrative officials on June 24 conducted surprises checks at Mudita Housing in Mayangone Township in Yangon Region, and arrested 27 illegal foreigners, confirmed Daw Ohn Mar Kyi, an official of the housing.

Seven foreigners from Mudita Housing (A), ten from Housing (B) and another ten from Housing (C ) were arrested by the police.

Most of the 27 foreigners are Nigerian nationals, according to some people living in the Mudita Housing.
