1,592 new COVID-19 infections recorded in Myanmar

The number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 73,322 in Myanmar with 1,592 new COVID-19 infections recorded Wednesday, according to a statement from the Health and Sports Ministry Xinhua reported.

Myanmar reported 25 more deaths in the past 24 hours, the statement said.

The death toll has increased to 1,650, while 54,764 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals as of Wednesday.
