1,406 new COVID-19 reported cases in Myanmar

The number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 49,072 with 1,406 new cases in Myanmar as of Wednesday, according to a daily release from the Health and Sports Ministry Xinhua reported.

Another 25 new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,172 so far, the release said.

As of Wednesday, a total of 28,636 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals.
